Inside issue 4

Danny Cipriani talks exclusively to Rugby about depression, the Jersey incident, dealing with the media, the pressures of fame and what happens if he’s already played his last game for England.

Steve Diamond gives a truly in-depth interview on life on and off the pitch, covering his first job in a printing press right through to attempts to break rugby league, what went wrong at Saracens and what he thinks of the player welfare in the modern game.

Kyle Sinckler talks about his portrayal as ‘an angry black dude’ from London, being a property magnate, his dog Brody and the former school rival that recently died in a shooting incident.

We visit Neath on matchday to meet the people fighting to keep this famous club alive.

We tell the incredible life story of Richmond FC from its very beginnings on the same site that once hosted Henry VII’s jousting tournaments.

Leicester Tiger and legendary England wingman Rory Underwood gives us the complete lowdown on his incredible career.

Kosovan women’s rugby is on the up, so we visit the capital Pristina to find out how the sport emerged from the ashes of war.

We tell the story of former Swansea, London Welsh, Oxford Uni and Doncaster prop Ian BGI Williams who died suddenly before a weekday training session.

The pioneering former Great Britain and England captain  Carol Isherwood takes us on trip down to memory lane to the very beginnings of women’s rugby.

Heard about the Englishman who took the helm of a European national side and led them to their highest world ranking in decades? Say hello to Jim Crick, a rugby globetrotter.

In-Depth History v The Cult of Personality

A beautifully art directed magazine with superb production values. In truth, i bought the magazine solely for the article about the doings and the history of Richmond FC - which didn't disappoint. However, I found the articles about the many so-called rugby personalities that you featured to be extremely narcissistic and self indulgent. I think a full-on subscription would drive me up the wall, but the magazine is worth buying occasionally to pull out the odd club article.
